Statehouse Lobbyist Bret Wiseman Has Died
Bret Wiseman, a Statehouse lobbyist who represented clients in various fields, has died, friends and colleagues said.
Mr. Wiseman was government relations advisor with Metropolis Consulting at the time of his death, and previously was public policy director for Ohio Advanced Energy Economy.
"Bret and I worked together, but like so many people, I was honored to call Bret my friend," said Bobby Ina, managing director of Metropolis. "He knew everyone and was friends with so many people. He will be greatly missed."
Prior to working in the private sector, he was an aide in the Ohio Senate, serving Secretary of State and former Sen. Frank LaRose and former Sen. John Carey. The 2006 Wittenberg University graduate is also a former LSC Intern.
