Annual Meeting Recap
Membership gathered on February 21
Our Annual Meeting was held last Tuesday at the Sheraton Columbus at Capitol Square. There were many OLA members in attendance and we had a fantastic turnout for the Legislative Reception. Here's a quick recap:
- Erika Cybukskis from Delta Dental was awarded the Darryl Dever President's Award for her very active participation in OLA activities.
- Outgoing President Mike Carroll gave a review of the year and introduced Managing Director Sheila Fox to the membership.
- We recognized recently retired OLA members, including Keith Brooks and Gwen Wolford, who were in attendance.
- The membership approved the 2017 operating budget and slate of officers, which added Josh Sanders from Calfee as an At-Large Board Member. Kurt Leib ended his term on the Board as Immediate Past President. (Thank you for your service Kurt!) The current board roster can be found here.
- We remembered Mike Morrison and Joyce Keller, longtime OLA members who passed away in 2016.
- Jeff DeLeone took the reigns as President for the year. Congrats Jeff!
