Executive Director Tony Bledsoe and General Counsel Jennifer Lockwood will give an overview of the Office of the Legislative Inspector general and provide updates that apply to OLA members.

About our presenters:

Tony Bledsoe was appointed Legislative Inspector General in 2004 following a three year tenure as JLEC’s chief legal counsel. Prior to JLEC, Bledsoe served as a securities attorney with the Ohio Department of  Commerce; he also has experience in the areas of election and campaign finance law. Bledsoe is a graduate of Youngstown State University and The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law; he is a member of the Council On Government Ethics Laws and the Ohio Investigators Association.

Jennifer Lockwood currently serves as General Counsel for the Joint Legislative Ethics Committee.  She joined the Office in 2009 and previously served as the Committee's Ethics Advisory Attorney.  Ms. Lockwood received both her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and her J.D. from The Ohio State University.  She is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Ohio Investigators Association.
