OLA Certification Class: Persuasive Speaking & Writing Skills

Please join us for a presentation on persuasive speaking and writing skills with Dr. Susan Kline, Professor of Communications at The Ohio State University. Dr. Kline focuses her work on interpersonal communication, social interaction, communication and social competencies, persuasion, argumentation and social influence. Also, as part of the presentation Representative Bill Sietz and Representative Bob Cupp will be on hand to speak about the members’ perspective. They will focus on what members of the General Assembly look for, what we lobbyist can do to be more effective, and what are the most frequent problems they see in one-on-one meetings, testimony, and written materials.
This session is for OLA members only and provides 1.5 credit hours toward certification. You are invited to bring your lunch to the session.
