Government Affairs Assistant

This is an entry level full-time position for someone with some experience in government or politics or enthusiasm for learning the field.

The position entails researching, writing and organizing legislative materials for policy work, scheduling meetings with Congressional and state legislative offices, assisting with sales and marketing, and performing related tasks in a fast-paced government affairs office.

The ideal candidate has had some experience in government or politics. A strong work ethic, professionalism, ability to take initiative, excellent communications skills, attention to detail, and a sense of humor are required. This will be a 6 month contract position with potential for longer employment.
