OLA Certification Class: Ethics Update
County Commissioners Association of Ohio, 209 E. State St. Columbus
The OLA Ethics Committee will present a certification class featuring Tony Bledsoe, Executive Director/Inspector General of the Joint Legislative Ethics Committee and Jennifer Lockwood, General Counsel. They will provide an update on ethics rules and regulations for lobbyists and members of the Ohio General Assembly.
The presentation will include:
- An overview of lobbying compliance relative to attempts to influence legislation, executive agency decisions, and the investment decisions of the state’s retirement systems
- How to contact JLEC staff with questions about Ohio’s lobbying laws
- Frequently asked questions from lobbyists received by JLEC
- Q & A
