Annual Meeting & Legislative Reception March 13, 2012

The OLA Annual Meeting & Legislative Reception will take place on March 13, 2012 at the Capital Club of Columbus. The Member Meeting begins at 4:00 in the Bistro Room, followed by a Member Cocktail Reception at 5:00. The members of the General Assembly have been invited to a reception in the Presidential Dining Room at 5:30 p.m.

Office of Budget & Management Director Keen addresses over 60 members at Lunch

Director of the Office of Budget and Management, Tim Keen addressed over 60 OLA members at the April Signature Series Lunch on April 15th.  The Bistro Room at the Capital Club was the site for the highly successful event.

JLEC unveils new online filing system

Introducing a new online filing system called the Ohio Lobbying Activity Center (OLAC.). Stay tuned for more information.

The scholarships are awarded as part of OLAs annual program designed to encourage undergraduate students toward a career in public service. Mike Carroll, At-Large member of the OLA Board of Trustees and Chair of the OLA Education & Outreach Committee, awarded the scholarships on June 2, 2011 at a Learning Community dinner celebration featuring Glenn School founders former Senator John and Annie Glenn. The competitive scholarships will help defray the cost of the students’ education, and were awarded based on scholastic achievement, outstanding political or governmental service, community service, participation in extra-curricular activities, and other awards and recognitions.
